Structure characteristic This construction will be used for fans with rotor diameters greater than 1,600 mm in double suction.  The rotor is supported on two bearings, whereas these bearings are on opposite sides in relation to the rotor (double-supported).  The concrete base will feature cut-outs and/or overhangs for an improved fit of the machine and a reduction in the amount of concrete needed to build it.
